Recently, a Rottweiler named Jessie, owned by Eleanor Usher, made history in the United Kingdom by giving birth to one of the largest litters ever recorded. The two-year-old dog surprised her owners by giving birth to fifteen healthy puppies, which is the country’s second-highest brood. Initially, Usher only expected five puppies at most, so this was quite a shock. To accommodate them, Ian, Usher’s husband, created an improvised bed for the puppies who will be sold in six to eight weeks. Jessie is fiercely independent and not allowing anyone else to feed the puppies. Consequently, the puppies have been cuddling together quietly at night and feeding from their mother almost constantly. Furthermore, in addition to caring for the puppies, Jessie has also taken it upon herself to look after the family’s seven-year-old cat, Mini.
Jessie has been a fantastic caretaker to her litter of 15 cute puppies.

A recent photo shared by SWNS shows that the newborn puppies are being fed in a continuous cycle. Eleanor, a mother of four from Telford, Shropshire, was surprised when she heard scratching sounds at the bottom of the stairs on Sunday at 1:50 am. Jessie, the mother dog, had given birth to one puppy under the stairs and another one in her bed without their owners’ knowledge. Fascinated, Eleanor and her partner, Ian, decided to witness the process closely. They had not opted for an ultrasound because it was too expensive; hence they expected six to eight puppies. When Jessie gave birth to the sixth puppy, Eleanor told her that she could stop because she had done enough.
The small canines are curled up in a warm resting place improvised from any accessible materials.

It was quite a surprise when the mother gave birth to these little pups – she just kept on delivering! But thankfully, the owners didn’t need to intervene during the birthing process as it all went smoothly. In fact, they were in shock when they counted up eleven puppies – breaking the previous UK record of eighteen! They were worried the number might even reach twenty, but luckily the birthing process finished around 8 am. The two pups that stand out the most are named Daisy and Walter, but the other nine haven’t been named yet due to their similar appearance.
